We had a relaxed last real week of Kindergarten! Wasn't it just yesterday we were finishing our first week of school?! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone and much the students have grown.
Our main activity in literacy this week was writing our Kindergarten Memory Books. The students did different pages about their friends, our school, what they learned, etc. We worked on this a little bit every day. They turned out so cute, and will come home with your child on Monday. We also finally got to wrap our living vs. nonliving study by planting our flowers on the courtyard.
In math this week, we did review centers. The students got to choose between a shapes, subtraction bowling, a measuring with unifix cubes, and play Dream Box on the ipads.
We also had our last ALO class and buddy time! We exchanged cards with our buddies and then played outside. We will DEFINITELY miss our 3rd grade buddies, but will see them again when the students are 1st and 4th graders :)
We also had the PTO Fine Arts Presentation with Eve's mom on Wednesday! We learned about Monet and did a really cool watercolor project.
Lastly, we celebrated summer birthdays, spent a lot of time playing with our favorite toys before they get stored away, and being outside.
The perfect Kindergarten days!
